Yilan County officials from Taiwan visit Sabo kaikan
On Tuesday 18 June, a technical exchange meeting was held at Sabo K with a 25-member delegation (accompanied by one interpreter) led by Mr Wu Chih-hung, Secretary-General of the Yilan City Government.
After a briefing by Dr. Hiroyuki Ohno on the outline of Japan’s landslide countermeasures, the Taiwanese side asked questions on evacuation and natural dam countermeasures, and a lively exchange of views took place.
