Outline of Landslide Disasters

A landslide in Taniya Area started at a distance of about 100 m from National Road Route 415. The landslide occurred had a width of about 210 m, a depth of about 90 m, a thickness of about 15 m and a soil mass of about 250,000 m³. It covered a torrent and reached almost the other side of Konuma River (about 20 m). The landslide mass attacked private houses that were located at the bottom of the valley, and caused a lot of harm, such as two houses completely destroyed and other houses half destroyed.
